Diamond & Pearl Gypsy Ring

There is something particularly pleasing about this Victorian gypsy ring. Set with a bright and lively old cut diamond in a classic star setting and two creamy split pearls either side, the ring itself is substantial in weight. It has an elegance that can be lacking in this style of ring – we love it. The hallmarks are rubbed away but there is the faintest evidence of an (also rubbed away) inscription.

Ring size: Ring size O 1/2.

Materials: Diamond (approx 0.2ct). Cultured Pearls. 18ct Gold.

Hallmarks: No hallmarks but metals have been professionally tested.

Era: Victorian.

Date: c1880.

Condition: Excellent antique condition – there are two faint marks on the gold possibly evidence of previous gold testing with acid. There is an inventory number and also very faint evidence of an old inscription on the inside of the band.
