Edwardian Peridot & Seed Pearl Lavalier Pendant

£140.00

In the early days of the 20th century every woman was wearing a lavalier pendant or brooch. The design predates this period by a long way and was in fact named after Louise Françoise de La Baume Le Blanc, Duchesse de La Vallière (1644-1710), mistress of Louis XIV. This sweet version has a central peridot set in 9ct gold and is surrounded by silvery seed pearls. A new 9ct chain can be purchased separately here.
