Pearl Set Swallow Charm

£70.00

SOLD l Swallows were hugely popular in late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery, given to loved ones when they set out on a journey in a bid to keep them safe. It was a symbol of love and protection to help ensure their return. This little chap used to hang from a brooch but we think he’ll get much more flight time around someone’s neck. Set with tiny split seed pearls in 9ct gold, this birdy is ready to fly away to you.
