Victorian Garnet & Aquamarine Pendant

A stunning piece of Victorian jewellery, this was originally a brooch and has been sensitively converted into a wow pendant. Created c1880 from 18ct gold, it is set with pinky purple rhodolite garnets and pale aquamarines with beautiful canetille and wirework detailing around the frame. The reverse has a silk panel behind a perspex disc which could house a picture, photo or memento if you would like. An 18ct gold chain is available here.

Hallmarks: No hallmarks but professionally tested.
Era: Victorian
Date: c1880.
Condition: Very good antique condition. There is a subtle irregularity of shape to the wirework frame at c.10 o’clock. One of the garnets has a small chip which is not visible to the naked eye but can be viewed under magnification and in the third photo here for your information.
